In 2020, one of my pictures got awarded in this famous competition, which made a dream come true. I won the category „Nature’s Studio“, which is especially made for creative ideas and rather innovative photos. My image „Galaxy“ shows the reflection of a Barn Swallow on the water surface. I took the picture at Greifswald Harbour with a remote-control. Here is the Youtube Video, where I explain the whole story of the photo in detail:

Seventh place in the competition „GDT Nature Photographer of the Year 2020“ in the category Birds
Fourth place in the competition „GDT Nature Photographer of the Year 2019“ in the category Nature´s Studio
GDT European Nature Photographer of the Year 2016 in the youth category 15-17 years
In autumn 2016, a big dream came true: I won a prize in the „GDT European Nature Photographer of the Year“ competition. I’m very happy to have achieved first place in the youth category with my photo „Wren“. It was the first time I participated in this competition, and at the same time it was my last chance to win something in the youth category because only a few months later I turned 18. I’m full of confidence and I hope for further success in the upcoming years.
